Recipes!

For those of you that know me, you probably know how much I love to cook!  I have been 'cooking' since I was a kid.  I used to play a game with one of my friends and we called it "Experiment Cooking."  We would combine strange ingredients in tiny tarts and mash up cranberries from the woods behind our houses.  We had a lot of fun with that!

Both of my parents worked and had little time to pack me a lunch for school.  So starting at around 3rd grade I was in charge of packing my own lunch.  My mom would buy me what ever I wanted for my lunches (within reason!) as long as I ate what I packed.  Up until high school my lunches were pretty gross.  I remember packing a lot of tuna salad, chicken salad, and soggy peanut butter and jelly.  I think its safe to say I was known as the kid with the nasty lunches.  No one ever wanted to trade with me!  In high school I started packing much better lunches consisting of gourmet salads and sandwiches.  I used to invite my friends over to taste my concoctions on a regular basis.  I'm still inviting my friends to come over and taste my strange food creations!  I am thankful for my opportunities to cook because it is what has gotten me where I am today.

I would like to share some of the best recipes I have that I use on a regular basis.  I am always looking for new and healthier versions of all of these recipes.  If you have a suggestion that you think could make a recipe even better email me or comment on the recipe!  For now I am doing these on instructables so we'll see how that goes...
